Futile Resilience

A victim of the crime never committed…

The prevailing lies overshadow my innocence...

What it takes to be someone like you…

Just takes away so much of me…

Shattered pieces of my soul regather to consciousness.…

Only to find myself hurt…Once again….

Breaking down…I give into the pressure…

Succumbing to the strength of my weakness…

And the setting sun gives way to the moon…

Hiding my wounds to find them become scars so soon…

Words find no emotions…Lost to my battles with time…

Trusting you was always a game…But the victory was never mine..

That's what love is.

I cannot overlook the constant hoops we tenacious hearts jump through fer to earn their annoyance.

Aye, sentimental journal type Poetry, written with..argh..

Feelings

Argh

Is often know to fall Poetically short.

But not today...

I liked it

Twas cool, and today I relate is a special way.

Take care when yer jumpin' the hoops.
