Surfaced

Cross my heart until I break
And mark me down as a mistake
For showing me that I was real
Has hurt beyond what I can feel

The obvious you know I hate
Since it depicts what can't create
And honesty's not that complex
Regardless what your pride suggests

But love that swims a shallow sea
Has surfaced truth you hid from me
So knowing looks to grotesque eyes
Drown sketchy love with futile lies

But whisper me a poignant night
Where colors dance on bended light
Then you will see our world unfold
With love for you I wish to hold
