I feel the unknown presence about to break out of strife
How could someone be so eager to take their very life?
Then she tells me not to worry, that she'll be okay when she's gone
I look at her face and it hurts because it is as cold as dawn
She pulls away and leans forward a bit then stops right in her track
She hears me whisper to her," How can death bring them back?"
She closes her eyes once more and tries hard to lunge below
I barely catch her in my grip when I realized it's my shadow....

for it being listed under as "(miscellaneous)stories" I meant to make it the poetry section but, it submitted before I could change it. But thank you all for the comments! (: They are greatly appreciated!

Creepy...She questioned herself on wanting to commit suicide. What a deep twist. Nice poem...or story...maybe both.
