Disconcertment

Alone inside my whispered thoughts
Harsh clouds of blackened mist
Breathe as lonely memories
And haunted amethyst

Since foolishness has compromised
Tomorrow's peaceful dreams
My raining hope and scattered pride
Now beats love to extremes

And injudicious reckoning
With courage lacking grace
Have shattered my false dignity
Attempting to save face

But fracturing humility
To demonstrate the facts
Aches like sorrow's misery
As lines drip through the cracks

Very interesting. The complexity of the telling and the words themselves make up the core beuty of this peice.
