![]() Jenny knew she would need a new outfit, oh and a new hair do. She knew that John loved her just the way she was, but no she was not going to look dowdy, she was going to look the belle of the ball. When she walked into the church she wanted everyone to look around and gasp at how daring and beautiful she looked. With that thought still in her head she decided on a figure hugging white trouser suit, she even thought flowers in her hair would look nice. No she was not going to be conventional Next the catering, a huge dressed salmon would be a nice touch and champagne, lots of champagne. John loved champagne. She could hear in her mind what John would say. "Oh Jenny you are a one" but she knew John wouldn't mind her in trousers in fact he thought they were quite chic. Days went by, the outfit bought, the flowers ordered, and champagne on ice. The day was here. Nervously Jenny dressed, pinned her hair up, and clipped in the flowers, then she took one last look at herself in the mirror. God! She looked good. John was going to be so bowled over by it all. The car pulled up at the church and out she stepped, shaking a little but holding her own. Jenny strode into the church and all heads turned towards her, some with tears in their eyes, all wearing black. Jenny stopped, adjusted the lilies in her hair and sighed. Oh she did miss John.
