the sirens blare,

people scream,

my head is foggy,

as if in a dream,

there's the silence of death,

the stench of blood,

they tried to save me,

but no one could,

no one noticed,

my screams for help,

my desperate struggles,

the pain i felt,

i didn't want to,

but there was no other way,

because my mental anguish,

would never fade,

it came down,

to me and the knife,

to end the struggles,

of daily life,

i'm sorry mom,

i didn't try,

to be the failure,

in your life,

i know you loved me,

i know you cared,

but you couldn't take the burden,

of the woes i bared,

so this is,

my last goodbye,

i'll see you again,

someday, sometime,

I assume this is about teenage suicide. I did not know that there was a way to make it sound poetic.

I agree with 1800. I think this flowed very smoothly, and it made me think of how people really must feel when they're committing suicide. The verses are short but very powerful. I really enjoyed this one.
