Part 1 of 2:
(a mediaval setting)
The young prince needed his true love.Because without her,he would never be complete.And so he had countless suitors presented to him and beautiful though they were,he was not swayed by any.He had to find her;his only true love;the keeper to his heart;his armour;his everything.And after a year,he became restless and decided to search for her.
And so he approached his father the king of fortune land,"father,i am sorry but i have to leave fortune land.I need to find my true love.Please understand."his father the king understood all too well the importance of a true love.The king's wife had passed away a number of years ago and he had never been the same again.No woman would be able to replace his wife;she would be forever in his heart;the king's true love.and so he allowed his son,the young prince to leave the kingdom.
The young prince's search began.He went to kingdoms far away but never once did he get his true love.He searched everywhere but fate,it seemed,had planned a loveless life for him.
The young prince finally gave up and decided to go back to his father's kingdom.As he was heading back,he got to an old forest,the forest of the unknown.And there he met disgux.unknown to the young prince,disgux was a cursed spirit that was condemned by the higher spirits to forever haunt the unknown forest."hello young prince,"disgux said.Suprised,the young prince sprung up and unleashed his sword."who are you?Show yourself!"the young prince shouted."i am disgux.i mean you no harm young prince.I can infact help you in your quest.what is it that you search for?"disgux asked.
"i search for my true love but i have been unsuccessful for the past few months.I now return to my father's kingdom,"the young prince told disgux.Disgux thought to himself for a while and them said,"i can assist you young prince.I can find your true love.but you will need to do me a favour."
the young prince was not certain.He had already given up the search for his true love and had already condemned himself to a loveless life.but what if disgux could get him his true love?Wasn't it worth the effort to complete disgux's task?
"i agree disgux.i will take on your task,"the young prince replied.
"very well young prince.you will need to travel to the land of beyond.where no man has been.travel north till you get to the enchanted swamps and from there,east.when you get to the land of beyond,retrieve the yellow green stone and on returning here with the stone, i will tell you where your true love is and who she is,"disgux said excitedly.
The next morning,the young prince set out on his new quest and for three months he travelled.He was exhausted and needed to desperately rest and eat but his conviction to find his true love was too strong to stop him.And after a while,he arrived at the land of beyond.he rested and ate fruits and after two days,he was fit.He found the everlasting spring in the heart of the land of beyond and within its waters,lay the yellow green stone.the young prince had found it.he would finally get to know his true love.he lifted the stone and it was beautiful.it had strange writings but he was able to read one of the inscriptions that said:THE GATE SEPARATING LIFE AND DEATH.he wondered what it meant but that wonder was shortlived.he had heard a rustle behind him.He wondered what it was.A bear perhaps?He couldnt not be too sure.and so he rose very slowly,very cautiously......
"do not worry young prince,"a beautiful female voice said.
"how do know me?"the young prince asked as he turned around.the young prince could not believe his eyes.the owner of the voice was an angel girl.the most beautiful creature that walked on the world.she was pure in every form.
"your search for your true love has been talked about far and wide.I have come here,only hoping to see you,a man who believes in true love.there are so few of you out there,"she said.
"thank you angel girl.it was a pleasure meeting such a fair and graceful woman as yourself but i must now return to where i come from,"the young prince replied.
"young prince,please stay,"the angel girl pleaded,"if only for a night.i too have lived a loveless life and i would only wish to spend a night in your company."
The young prince was a kind man and he could not let such a fair lady be by herself on such a cold and dark night.so he agreed to her request.he made a fire and they sat next to each other, talking.
A week passed and the young prince was still in the land of beyond.the more time he spend with the angel girl,the more he fell in love with her.she was his true love.He would be with her forever. They were happy.The world finally meant something.But something troubled the young prince.Why did the angel girl appear just as he was planning to leave with the yellow green stone?
