I love it that you care enough

for me

to see what I have written,

to want to know what I have written,

to need to see what I am thinking.

Show me that I'm more than

just a plug to fill a gaping hole,

the random one who plays the role,

that we connect in mind and soul,

through barriers that divide us all,

like magnets of opposing poles,

that you and I against the fold,

have broken our own unique molds,

male and female, halves and whole,

working for a common goal.

I'm happy that I interest you

enough

for you to view my passion,

that you would look without my asking,

I write this should that ever happen.

Oi *is restless.

This is making butterflies flutter inside my stomach (and you know how much I like that)...

What a nice poem... whomever it's dedicated to, or whomever came to mind while writing it, I'm jealous of.

I like this one very much Dirk!

This is a nice poem, yes.. Though I find it pretty unnatural when the lines are sometimes divided like that; from between a sentence. It is so with both English and Finnish, and I guess in any language.

Still it's very nicely said, and it's made like an open letter, but yet it doesen't consider things too personal; it could be for anyone from anyone. But after all it is as important for both sides, who ever they were.

Actually...

I meant to click the other guy's story, sorry. Kidding. Nice, didn't know I was going to get thanked.
