OKAY, SO THIS IS A POEM THAT BAETHAN DAWN AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON TOGETHER. BAETHAN!(IF YOU'RE READING THIS) YOU'RE SUCH A SWEETY! WELL, ANYWAY, HERE IT IS. ENJOY! Ha! See it, The relics of the night. Your heart desires them And reaches out to Their sparkling mirrors.
Your eyes turn In spite of your mind. Your heart is a void emptiness. You suck at the darkness, Trying to grasp onto the light. It doesn't exist.
Listen to that man Across the street. Yes, the one with large ear hairs. Listen to him, yes, widen your ears. He belongs in your consciousness, In your sight.
He is a wise man. But, the scarlet veil will not hide The nature that only he could behold: The demon behind the simpleton mask, The joker behind the simpleton. Listen to him.
He is you, the real you, the one behind the scarlet veil. His life was not full of roses and honey. Live with a mask. Be as sly as a fox. Slither your way through obstacles Like a hunting python.
Scarlet veil, Curse and blessing. Use it Or lose it. Copyright 2008 August Blackwood |
