A World of Different Worlds |

Share it:      It was a world of different worlds living thru the 1960’s especially for a kid named Ethan Daniels. In 1969 Ethan met the new girl at his school her name was Lily Taylor. Lily was the first colored student at Ethan’s school but Ethan didn’t care . In Ethan’s eyes he was sick of the way people treated other people just because the were a different race. Ethan thought Lily was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. On Lily’s first day of school Ethan saw a guy named Dennis attack Lily by grabbing her by the neck and saying “Her kind Don’t belong here” and Ethan snapped by grabbing Dennis’s Neck and putting him in a head lock and saying that “If Dennis hurt her he Would snap his neck like a twig.” Dennis slowly took his hands off of Lily’s Neck and Ethan still having Dennis in a head lock threw Dennis head first into a locker and Ethan Told Dennis that the next time he bothered Lily He would have to answer to him. The next thing Ethan did was run to check on Lily. Lily’s was lying on the floor buy her locker scared. Ethan told Lily that” Don’t worry he would never let anything thing bad happen to her.” She Asked Ethan “ Why do you care about me?” and He told Her “Other than she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his Life, He was sick of all the racism happening in the world.” Which made her smile, A couple of days later they started dating. They were inseparable, Even when it came time for their senior pictures which they had taken together. A couple of days later Ethan and Lily decided to meet at a local park which is between both their houses. Which is also where they saw each other again the first time they met. I was raining out and Lily was walking home with her umbrella and she saw Ethan walking to his house and offered to share her umbrella and walk Ethan home than she would go home. While smiling happily Ethan accepted her offer. So back to the story of that night. Ethan and Lily was to meet again at the same park. Lily arrived first at the park and she heard somebody say her name thinking it was Ethan she turned around. But It was Dennis standing there with a Gun. Lily was standing there begging for him not to shoot. Ethan heard Lily crying and ran to the park. Ethan saw Dennis with the gun and jumped between Him and Lily and when Dennis fired the gun He shot Ethan. When a local Neighbor saw what happened they called the police and an ambulance. When the police and ambulance got there Lily was kneeling down by Ethan telling him while crying, “To hang on that he was going to be okay.” From his blood loss by the shooting Ethan fell into a coma. He woke up two years later with Lily by his side. After Ethan fully recovered from the shooting He and Lily got Married. Soon later they started a family. They had three kids Hope, Faith and Skyler.
