" Just go talk to him " Hannah pushed me foward toward Alex's house. " No I can't " I said stepping a big step away from his house. " Yes you can!" Hannah pushed me foward. " No I can't!" I said firmly walking a crost the street to My house witch lay planted next to Hannah's. She ran to catch up with me. She touched my arm witch was STILL trembling from the presure of knocking on Alex's door. " Go do it" she said looking at my brown marble eyes. " Do I have too?" I whined at her. " If you want a boyfriend then yea" she said. I sighed and       said " No". " OK fine!" Hannah said wiping her sweaty hands on her jean shorts. " Sorry Hannah " I said fixing my brown hair into a pony tale. " It will just have to be your problem and not mine" Hannah said. " OK I'll do it" I gave in. Hannah smiled and shoved me toward the street. I took a deep breath and walked to the edge of the street. Then Alex and his friend walked out of his house. I fell back onto the warm summer fresh clipped grass. Hannah sprinted over to me and yanked up. " Lets go into my house, quickly " Hannah said. I rubbedd the back of my now sore head. " Did I just make a big fool of myself infront of Alex and his friend Nick?" I asked I got up. " Yes now hurry" Hannah said  running with me to her house.

When we were inside Hannah's older sister Haley gave us a plate of warm fresh chocolate chip cookies and two glasses of cold, icy, creamy milk that snaked down our throats washing the best cookies ever down.Haley and Hannah's mom is hardly ever around because she has to work longer and harder sience her husband died. I try not to bring it up. Haley ends up being like Hannah's mom in a way that's complicated to explain.  " Man Haley these are good things" I said. " Agreed" said Hannah grabbing another handful of them. " Lets go" Hannah said to me. I grabbed a hand full of cookies and followed Hannah up to her room. It had a view of Alex's Front Yard. My bedroom window did too. We spyed on an empty front yard for a half an hour. " This sucks he's not even outside" Hannah said slumping down from the windowsill we were sitting on. " Maybe he went to the pool or park?" I sugusted. " That's an idea" Hannah said. " Lets wait though" I said. " I don't think I'm ready to "accidentally " see him at the park or pool." I said. " Yea got a point there" Hannah clicked her tounge and roof of her togather making a CLICK sound. " What?" I asked. " Nothing I'm just about to die from bordem" she siad. We laughed and decided to go to the pool. It was a nice day and we wouldn't swim but play volleyball. We both love that sport. That's why were best friends for life. We even pinky swore and rubbed our blood together when we were six!

I showed up at the pool in a new brown and pink polka dot bakini with pink backetball shorts on over it. Hannah in a blue and white checked bakini with white backetball shorts on over it. We began a game when I glanced over the fence into the pool area where you swim. We were in the sand pit  where the vollyball net was. I saw Alex, Nick his friend, and Kris Hannah's boyfriend there having soda's sitting by the water watching some seven year olds play sharks and minows.  " Hey look who's here " Hannah said dropping the vollyball onto the soft warm sand. " Lets go!" she said. " I shook my head no. " Yes. Hurry" Hannah said. Shaking I followed Hannah slowly. " Hey guys" Hannah yelled over the fence as she got her pool card scanned. " Hey Hannah" Kris said. " Sup?" Hannah asked giving them all hi fives. I just stood there and was quiet. " So what are you guys doing here?" Alex asked me. I was frozen. My mouth couldn't move. " Oh we were just playing some vollyball" Hannah said. " Yea" I said. That's all I could say then. " Sounds fun. Can we join?" Alex asked. " Oh great! You guys aginst us right Kaylee?" Hannah asked me. " Yea " I said again. Hannah wacked my back. " Yea sweet!" I said giving Hannah a glare. She shruged and we walked to the sand.

After our game with a tie ten to ten  Hannah and I walked home. " What a nice third day of summer" Hannah said. " Yea it was" I said  back. " So now what are we going to do for the rest of the summer?" I asked. " I don't know" Hannah said thinking. I gasped. " Hannah YOU don't know? When do you ever not know?" I said. She laughed. " Well I'm sure I'll think of something" she siad after a while. When we reached our houses she ran to her room to grab her pj's and sleeping bag. I got mine and my big tent and started to set up in the front yard. The sky wasn't any darker than that late afternoon but it was five o'clock. I lugged out some pillows right as Hannah lugged out her stuff. It's so great that we lived nextdoor. I had set up the tent right on the borderline of our houses. We went inside and changed into our pj's. We always do that even though we know it's not dark yet.  Hannah pulled all her blonde curls on top of her head into a bun. " It's too hot out here" she said fanning herself. "Agreed but we have to sleep out here for a week remember?" I asked. " Yea Kaylee but I was thinking that..." Hannah began. " Don't tell me you are breaking a pinky swear?" I asked. " No no of course not" Hannah said. Her bun fell our from the top of her head. " Hey you hair..." started. " Yea I know" she said sighing. " What?" I asked. " Just bored" she said. " Hey Hannah.." I said. " What?" she asked. " Want to ding dong ditch Alex?" I asked. " Now were talking!" she said comming alive. We ran acrost the street five seconds later. Hannah hid behind the bushes and I rang the doorbell. I ran as fast as I could to the bushes where Hannah hid. Alex opened the front door. " Hello?" He asked. Hannah and I bit out lips to keep from laughing too hard. " Oh well" Alex said rubbing his back. The he shut the door. Hannah went up to it as soon as he closed it and rang the doorbell. She ran with all her might to the bushes. Alex opened the door and his little sister was at his feet. "Who's there?" his sister asked looking through the door. " Nobody just some freaks ding dong ditching us" Alex said in an annoyed voice. Then he shut the door. I ran up to the door and dinged the doorbell. I was running to the bushes then someone shouted " You better run" and I knew it was Alex.

He slammed the door and I ran straight to my house instead of the bushes. " Where are you going?" Hannah yelled and came running after me.  " He hates me" I said laughing. " What?" Hannah asked confused. " He caught me" I laughed out. Hannah looked blank for a minute then just started laughing with me. We fell on to my yard. We laughed for five minutes and every time one of us stopped the other would imitate me running away laughing and there we would go off again.  We finally stopped when Haley came out to see if we were OK and then we laughed again, this time harder. We laughed so hard we turned red. Haley just looked confused. She stood there with this face looking at us lie we were dorks until she walked back into Hannah's house witch made us laugh again for some crazy reason. We were like clowns!

We slept like babies in the tent. It was so nice to be camping even if it was in our own front yard.  For breakfast we knocked on Hannah's door but Haley was at a friend's and her mom was working so we climbed up to Hannah's window, opened it, and tumbled through. We laughed at us tumbling then at last night. We grabbed some poptarts and Juicy Juice boxes and went out the front door this time. After a breakfast on my front porch Hannah and I split up to get out swimming suits on. We wore the same ones as yesterday but this time we didn't wear shorts over. I wore a pink Six Flags shirt over my top and some brown flip flops that came with the suit. Hannah wore her blue Six Flags shirt and her white flip flops that came with her suit. The Six Flags tops we got at Six Flags Over Texas last summer. We went together. The shirts were WAY too big though but those are the shirts I like. We hopped on our bikes and peddled around the neighbor hood. When we came to the Aston's house we stopped in their driveway. Hannah and I baby-sit the Aston's kids Betty and Emily. Today we were taking them to the pool. They are not twins but like to be together a lot. They are seven and we are twelve. When they were ready we waved good-bye to Mrs. Aston. They rode on our handle bars. We let them do that a lot even though it's really hard to see with a body blinding any objects in front of you. WHen we made it to the pool the girls played in the sand while Hannah and I played a challenging game of vollyball. When it was time for the girls to go home we took them. Hannah and I rode down the street. " You know Hannah.." I started. " This is a good summer"  I finished. " Yep" I said peddling. From any view you looked from you could see us two peddling away. You could see us two best friends forever. You could see Hannah and Me.

good story

Good story salliy...unusual way you spell your name..its nice. My only critique is the way the story all runs together with no spacing between dialogue, just makes it hard for the reader to become part of the story... at least me anyway...but im certainly no critic...I gave it a 5

I liked the theme... but I had a hard time reading it like you said. There should have been spaces between diolouge.

i liked it

it reads as though it was written by the person relaying the adventure.

reading it gives me the impression that you are very young - if this is true then you are not far away from being a really good writer.

if you are older, then you were able to convey the writings of youth...

both ways, you win!

very nice.

....

Spacing is an issue for me too. Paragraph formation is so important when it comes to writing. Helps the flow....

Nice.

Yes, the spelling and grammar errors are pretty evident, but the "Wheee!" and "Yaaayy!" in your stories is very infectious.

I'm like full of glee when I read them. You come of as a cute and very happy writer; and a dose of that is always welcome.

Your misspellings and such didn't distract me enough to stop reading the story; it was just that charming.
