     Sometimes life will seem empty

     don't let that time dwell

     there is more important things

     there is so much to tell

     can't think of where to start

     don't know if I can end

     lessons can be taught

     messages I can send

     try to put in some meaning

     add a little feeling

     but sometimes that is hard to do

     I hope it is easier for you

     so you may find yourself

     and be happier too

     I've had the worst

     and you'll have it too

     but there's nothing to do

     but be you, be you

     pay attention to your conscience

     be cautious, be cautious

     respect your elders

     mind the law

     respect yourself most of all

     give love to your mom

     listen to your dad

     enjoy everything

     that I never had

     don't ever back down

     you may never come back

     work to support

     if it breaks your back

     faith has been placed

     things can be replaced

     but nothing is like your first

     and when it hurts

     you can't let it show

     you just got to go

     go on with the life you lead

     your mind and heart is all you need

     stay with your closest

     be by their side

     dress to kill

     look to sell

     when things go bad

     say what the hell

     don't do too much

     treat yourself well

     enjoy every minute of heaven

     forget hell

     pride yourself

     don't sell yourself less

     let everything off of your chest

     be yourself, always be true

     and remember this one thing

     I am you

     I am you
