Look at me and tell me what you see
I see a face, a mouth and untoned skin
Wait take a look again!!
Tell me what you see,
I see unhappiness and sadness
I see some determination and hadness
Anger and gladness
Can you look inside me and tell where I went wrong?
Where in life do I belong?
Am I suppose to be a toned, wealth model with great success?
A mother, a mentor, a role model to him and nothing but the best?
To offer anyone and anything in my life
To be what I want and look the way I should,
Instead my mirror is cracked and unbearable
I must stand up, fix it and make it clearer!
I must be able to stand in front and face my Mirror!

Everyone is their own worst critic. I don't think anyone sees themselves the way other people see them. Nice poem. Um is hadness intentional?

I look in the mirror and I see a 180 pound human male. Sorry, I just never understood why women criticize every detail of beauty.

Good work.

Good.

Akk! I hate mirrors!... well, most of the time... sometimes I look in the mirror and stroke my ego a few times, just to keep it alive...

But this poem is more than physical appearances, it's your "YOU"... it does make one think... Oi, I'm getting a headache, and now I'm disappointed in myself; maybe you shouldn't think of it too much.

This is absolutely wonderful.

Mirrors are very symbolic objects. They represent love, human existence, reality, false lives, and so much more. Mirrors can distort reality or make it more beautiful than it really is.

You're a talented writer, keep up the good work!
