Uncertainty

Watch the sun break through

We are memories we are signs

Of what we have left behind

We are fragments made of time

And my condition is getting worse it seems

I can’t do without

Addiction is the lust

That won’t let you out

But I am going to try to find a better way

I’m going to run away

But please don’t try to look for me

Because no matter how hard you try

You won’t find a shred of me

I’m withdrawing to a place of uncertainty

I have no idea what will become of me

Hopefully I’ll become something free

Because this world was never meant for me

I’m going all the way down

Never make a sound

Just how long before I hit the ground

How long until I become just a sound

Forever ringing in your tired ears
