I should probably run about now. Daydreams have filled my head from the sensation of them attacking. I wish I were a lion so I could attack with stealth.

To them I am a species with a bounty, to the world I am yet another survivor.

I feel as though they’ve been hunting me down for a while now. I’m unarmed and yet they find me a threat, the only thing I rely on now is my stealth within this log cabin. Yes, I’m in the woods, and for some reason I smile at my achievement of deceiving them. They trust their eyes and ears, but when a human as stealthy as me isn’t heard creaking on these wooden floors, I believe I have the privilege to make fun of them.

There must have been fifteen of them, all looking for me. What an honor.  Around five were outside, and the rest were inside, learning to climb up the steps ever so quiet. They took pride in their killings and their speed, but it only made me feel more important when they couldn’t catch me. They lurked around every corner even though their weapons weren’t viewable.

I was on the second floor, almost begging for attention. I hung around the second turn capable of seeing out the window at their defense and seeing the first one to climb up the stairs. They weren’t going to give up, but neither was I. I was going to wait until the first came around the first corner, then I would jump out the window and make a rough landing. I couldn’t help but smile. Now doing this would make me need to avoid the defensive, since they were waiting for the ones inside to signal them.

He reached the first turn, and was shocked to see the woodwork. He was obviously the leader. None of them would speak, they remained silent. He must have noticed me breathing because he faced his eyes in my direction and walked without moving his shoulders. That was my time.

I flew out the window, and landed in a roll. Luckily the defense was too shocked at what just happened to make an attack. The leaves from the autumn must have camouflaged me to confuse them of what I was. I rolled back up and began my sprint.  The leader was too afraid to jump from the window, so he only looked out at his defensive angrily.  They must’ve understood they would be killed themselves if they did not chase me. But I had already reached my destination.

The car. It drove me faster than they could run. Eventually I had to say goodbye, I’d miss their game they played with me, even though they were attempting to kill me. How aggressive. I only drove out of the woods and back to my home with such a big grin, but I truly will miss them.

They came in a pack, and tried to hunt me down.

....

I wasn't a fan; contrary to most of what I've seen. It just doesn't quite do it for me.
