three am

i see technicolour but mostly violet
slopped across the walls in polygon inlays as
the bulb from above casts a glare across bare walls
like a nuclear winter, i huddle beneath the coverless duvet
trying to breathe life into sentence fragments as a
freight train tears up the blackened skyline and
with morning, this will be a memory too

strange but intriguing

It sounds like a dream or something you want remember but can't. Does that make sense?

a waking dream, maybe. i feel like i'm in those a lot of the times. you could say this was one of them. surreal under the harsh light of my bedroom at three in the am.

Yeah, it seems like a dream to me.

But one with a bunch of quick flashes of different screens that shoot through your eyes like a bullet.

I thought it was pretty well written.

Good Job!

This was okay.

I tried to get into your imagery but I was lost at a nuclear winter and I don't quite know what a duvet is, though I tried looking it up and couldn't find the word. I thought you were inside at first but then you brought up a skyline, are you in a room without a ceiling?
