By: Howard MIller Hi Ray, It's Mom. The Amvets post made arrangements so that we could come here and record this message to you. I've never done this before so I'm a little nervous. Me and grandma are here, and your friend Jack. We're all doing fine here, your Dad says hi and be careful. All your Aunts and Uncles called when they found out we were making this tape to send to you. They also wish they were here and send their love. Jack wants to say something. Hey Ray, can't wait for you to get home, so we can go out and tie a good one on. There is a lot of anti-Vietnam stuff going on here, but we are all behind you guys. Well see you soon, here's your Mom. Hi, It's me again. I hope you are getting my letters, because lately you havent been answering my questions. Like what you wanted for Christmas. Well gotta go because I think we are almost out of tape. I love you son, take care. "Knock again Sarge, there has got to be someone home". "Lieutenent, I'm telling ya, no ones home. We'll just have to come back". " I hate this damn assignment". "I know, but someone has to tell them about their loved ones". "Ok Sarge, let's come back later. Copyright 2007 Howard Miller |
