It was such a good strategy hoplites in a circle archers in the center. It went so well. Then all hell broke loose we thought the world was ending so much cavalry we killed so many of them as they mindlessly charged on to are spears but they kept coming, the line broke. We didnt stand a chance. They charged on through the gap and tore into us without a second thought the screams oh the screams, but that wasnt the worst of it. The stench of death. Oh good god there is nothing quite like rotting flesh. Are valiant general tried to plug the gap, it was no use they just kept coming. He died honourably. I ordered my men around to face the enemy. If this is the end so be it. We were the last unit left on the battlefield. The enemy wheeled around to face us, it looked as if they were about to charge when suddenly they started laughing. It was an insult above all others. The thought of falling on my sword did not appeal however but it was the only honourable course now. I walked to the front of my unit as the comanding officer it was my duty to fight till the end and set an example in front of my unit. I screamed at the enemy "I Clavell Hiule stand before you in a admission of defeat i humbly ask your permision to fall on my sword along with the rest of my unit". The general walked forwards. This was the moment of truth. Why should a good man such as your self be wasted? Hmmmmmm. No i hate waste you from now on will be my personal advisor. With all the riches and money you could want, however your not so ore inspring unit shall be put to the death they can either do this peacefully or, do i really need to continue? I refused the offer and walked back to where my unit stood and shouted out "we fight till the end". The general simply walked back to the victourius army. A horn sounded. They madly charged forwards onto are extended spears but we knew we wouldnt last five seconds but we were determined to hold the line until the very end. My unit was slaughtered while i was captured nothing could have been worse. I begged for death. It was refused again and again. They tortured me until the general finaly tired of me. I asked my guard to at least let me write my memoirs. He agreed and provided me with paper. If you are reading this you obviously believe what i beleived that people should not fear their goverments but goverments fear their people. You beleive in a free world. Thats what i fought and will die for. Clavell Hiule 234 BC. Afternote: He kicked and screamed as they slowly burned him to death it was to much i asked the generals permision to end it he agreed. I drew my sword and stabbed him through the heart. In those last few seconds he smiled at me amazing how a friendship can begin and end so quickly. Jacob Kazuk 234 BC.
