Oi, I ask myself why this person still finds himself in love with such a self-destructive person. Sure sympathize, even empathize, but why still be romantically interested in her? That 'love' must be chemical, because certainly he cannot love her because the she "isn't like everybody else" and has all these amazing qualities; and just in case he's holding on to something she was in the past, that's just what it is, her past, not present... oof, ya...
Don't get me wrong I like this one too! Writing can have a negative or positive concept flow into the reader's mind, but it still makes the poem, in this case, great. Like in the movie "The Pianist"; it's about a Jewish man's struggles in Nazi Germany, the concept is grotesque, but the movie was great, I loved it. So, I really like your poem too, k? Man am I glad you have a million more of them^^. On to another!
