For those Civil War buffs out there, you may understand where and what I am writing about. For others, I am referencing the battle in the Wheatfield in Gettsburg, PA. The Irish Brigade fought and died bravely despite the Irish treatment as second class citizens at best during this time. Their courage was essential to the preservation of the Union.
