Good job John.
It's pretty incredible, you have this Native American (Indian)- Chief or Priest- telling- a- story- around- a- campfire talent going on. (Oi, that was a mouthful).

You have the potential to write the books people have a hard time putting down. Often times, I'm reading a story and I want it to be over quickly, but not with your writing. When it comes to your stories, I want to keep reading and reading.

Using a child as the main character is an excellent technique to grab your reader's attention. Dunno know what it is about them cute, hell-raising kiddos.
