Pez, your metaphors ("So one just dips a toe in"), are so wise.    Well it's actually a huge compliment to me for you to call my poems deep. And yes, I do my research on my word meanings. It takes me a while to write my poems just to make sure I get them right.    As for which one of your guesses am I talking about? It'd be the one on America, as you caught on the hint gives it away at the end. I'm not too big a fan when it comes to this country, so you might actually see a tiny bit of references like these in my stories as well.
