I have a killer headache, so this story might be better than what I think it is...    What a terrible man, by the way.    And the woman, Marcia, is also not a great person... but you were able to convey that she is a normal person. You wrote in the order that she thought, and didn't write about a superhuman, but a common, and flawed woman.
