I think the passion of your characters was very well defined. I also thought the portrayal of the traditions of the muslim faith and how it contrasted with Saleem's own beliefs and desires was done nicely as well. I think that you could have made the transitions between the time periods and events a little smoother, though I was still able to understand the chronology.
