It made me wonder if the author has personal experience of this kind of problem that is so prevalent with young people today. Or is it? I had a good friend, while serving in the British Army in the early 1970's who suffered a similar affliction. He spent some time in a British Military Hospital in Munster after cutting his arms with a broken beer bottle.
