I figured out midway what the confusion was going to be, but the end didn't make much sense to me to be honest. Maybe I read it wrong. But how would he know his wife when he saw her and seemingly have all his faculties, and never just go home for six years. Did seeing her cause him to remember all of a sudden? It never was made clear. Thought the story was entertaining however.
