Titanic was good, but then the stoyline carried it.
Didn't like Romeo & Juliet - should never attempt to modernise Shakespeare. Saw John Cleese in a version of Taming of the Shrew once and it just sounded like Clockwise.
Now James Earl Jones has a voice that sends a shiver down the spine. I remember him as the judge in LA Law from the 1980s, also as the voice of Darth Vader.
On my soapbox now (sorry); as Terence Mann in Field of Dreams he was awesome with that deep gravelly voice, a bit reminiscent of Morgan Freeman (well to a Brit it is!).

My favorite movies are silence of the lambs and You've got mail. two ends of the spectrum lol. Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal freaks me out still to this day. I see films like Remains of the day and i STILL see him as Hannibal haha.
Most of Meg Ryans movies are great, You've Got Mail is way different than the original Shop Around the Corner though, I'm still waiting to find a copy of shop before I know if the movie just ruined the story haha.

Well... I recently developed a Top 10 list of favorites for myself, though I always find it difficult picking favorites.
10. "Double Indemnity"
9. "The Thin Man"
8. "Psycho"
7. "Charade"
6. "Spy Game"
5. "You've Got Mail"
4. "Breakfast at Tiffany's"
3. "Rebecca"
2. "Touch of Evil"
1. "Vertigo"
My favorite actor is Audrey Hepburn. She makes it in to 2 of my top 10.
My 10 shows that I like a lot of classics, though I love some newer ones as well. Anthony Hopkins is always a treat, anyone seen "Proof"? It's fantastic. Has Hopkins, Paltrow and others. I really like the new Zodiac" movie with Robert Downey, Jr and company. It may eventually make it to my Top 10, it's got a lot of the elements I love--crime, 70s and based on a true story. That's a good combo for me, since I love the crime, 70s and true stories. Also love the "Bourne" series, especially "Bourne Supremacy."
Also, lately, I think my favorite "modern" actor is Brian Cox. Check him out in the first two "Bourne" films, especially "Bourne Supremacy" and you'll see what I mean. Also, check him out with Owen Wilson in "The Minus Man." That is a fantastic lesser known film.

They were great weren't they. So many twists and turns, and unusual for a story to last that well over three features.
