just sit at the computer screen and start typing anything that comes to mind. right now i have a half-story/half-bunch of random sentences about ..... chickens and a murder scene. i think eventually it will make sense as a short story. ..maybe lol
when i cant write, i just start typing out random stuff and then i get stuck on SOMETHING instead of NOTHING.

yeah i finally broke my chain and im writing three things right now, E-Day (which two chapters are already posted up) a game about a normal guy who goes crazy over a video game called Lord Of Chaos and another one that should be done in a couple days called Hitchhiking

music does really help
