just make sure after you download and install the trial version you not only put the code in but you restart the program, and you "activate" it.

So i guess i'll help anyone out if they have any more tech problems.

My suggestion and only cause one of my jobs at work is being an IT tech who has to deal with these issues on a daily basis and on the network....DON'T USE OFFICE 2007. It sucks, it isn't compatible with previous versions, you have to download all these patches to make it work right, it doesn't like some of the standard windows fonts (yeah go figure that one out) and it doesn't always print correctly.

If you can get your hands on a professional version of Office 2003...go with that. Then when you have to activate it, you call Microsoft and act blonde (no offense to smart blondes everywhere). I am really good at this....it's amazing what you can get away with when you just act dinghy....big boobs and a ditzy voice can take you miles....

two thoughts on the ms office thingee...

most machines ping software makers when firing - so there is an element of danger when two numbers come up for one reg code...

and the other is - i used office 95 - upgraded to 2000 for a million years, and then when i bought my phone - i had to upgrade to 2007 cause my phone docs software is not backwards compatible. funny huh? phone smarter than my computer software?

Well that's the problem with 2007, it can't open documents made in any other version of Office....it's freakin stupid! And then you have lame brain people that can't figure out why they can't open the document you sent them....
