I have a special edition of the Thing on DVD. It's probably one of the best Sci-fi/horror films since Alien.
As for both Ju-on and Ju-on 2, I've seen them and they failed to make my hair stand up. They actually caused me to laugh.

Yeah Aliens was a great film. Great Action flick; but my all time favorite is Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Anyways, the last Alien movies...the third was just ok; but I enjoyed Resurrection. I thought it was fun; and it was sick haha.
I'm going to have to say the scariest films out there for me are the realistic psychological films. Serial killer type movies are always suspenseful. Movies that could actually happen are also scary to me.
The supernatural films also scare me. Like Ju-On 2: The Grudge 2 (Japanese Version).

One of the best is 28 weeks later , the first 30 minutes is brilliant.I remember watching that, my girlfriend burst through the door, in fright i spilt a bottle of coke all over our new sofa.I was in the dog house for day's.
Alien res was good, pity about the end with the big alien/ human, it looked terrible.

28 weeks later was a great thrill ride. I loved it. The part that I thought was pretty messed up was where the father went to see his wife who he thought dead. She was tied up and then he began to become infected with rage. If i was her...i would have been freaking out like crazy! haha...

its ok...28 days later was a great film as well.
My favorite films would have to be the Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and American History X. Random sorry...none of those are even horror so my bad
I love the slasher films. I love how creative the deaths are...well some aren't that creative...but its just fun to watch those movies
