Explain, I’m at work and I can’t watch videos from my office.

PS

If it’s a “fat” kid playing games, then most professional gamers are not fat because their coaches and team may or may not have an exercise regiment.

They have an exercise regiment so they can stay alert and keep their reflexes at the highest possible, if they are the typically viewed lazy pot head gamer then they will lose against they actual ones who devote their time to it.

You cannot convince me that gamers are professional athletes(sports).
I run about 6 miles a day and weights ever 2nd night.
Pratting around on a pc is just a waste of time.I enjoy the xbox, dont get me wrong but nah it aint no sport.

But on a lighter note. Can you earn money from it.There must be competitions.
But each to our own.

I’m sure as an athlete you wouldn’t call poker a sport.

But the thing is that most of the professional gamers do have an exercise regiment, and while it is not as severe as yours may be, it is still better than doing nothing. Sure some people have the talent to do things on a pc or xbox without having to do any exercise to keep their mind sharp because if they were to slack off and become lazy then their reflexes would diminish and they would lose.

Yes there is quite a few competitions featuring anywhere between 10,000$ grand prize and I think 100,000$ grand prize.

last i checked the angry german kid was not a pro gamer, as entertaining as that would make it... I dont think it is a sport but it certainly does take a large amount of skill to play counter-strike ,or unreal tournament, the way they do.

Hehe while that video is entertaining that german kid is an actor who plays different roles, that was a setup. he was just playing an angry video gamer.

but video games is not a sport. acting in movies is not a sport. singing is not a sport. playing ******* poker is not a goddamn sport. now, it doesnt really matter if you call it a sport or whatever, they are hobbies, not something you should get paid for. playing baseball is a sport but you shouldnt get paid for it. thats just ******* ridiculous. basketball, football, tennis, ******* modeling are not jobs. even though football (soccer) is indeed the toughest sport you still shouldnt get paid for it.

now, firemen, police, anybody who works at a goddamn hospital; rhese are the folks who should be earning kerry wood's salary. now you know how police just dont care really? well imagine if they started getting paid 10 million dollars for every life they saved (bruce willis gets at LEAST 10 mil for every movie), dont you think these cops would be doing their jobs a whole lot seriously. actually acting like police officers? earn respect and lose the nickname pig? because they're pigs right now but that could change. that could really change. people just have to stop worshipping celebrities first, which is highly unlikely.

you know, I think that gaming is a sport. not in the traditional sense, but it's competitive so i'd classify it as a "sport"

It depends, each profession has it's art. Pro gamer, Football player, writer, actor. It's an art forum. You can’t knock them down for that, it’s not really there fault, that there good. It takes time, preparation and dedication. You can say, they don’t deserve to get paid, but that’s quiet hysterical. You cast one, you should cast them all. Why pay an author, why pay a musician. The list just keep going on and on. And it’s true if they love the art, they would do it for free. But, remember, we are the ones demanding that we be entertain. I think were all guilty of that.

To say, people shouldn’t be “ Worshiping “ these artist. It really depends on the person, you see it one way, they see it another. I do think worship is to bold of a word. I admire Da Vinci, Christopher Nolan, Alan Moore etc. Those are my idols, so, the point I’m trying to make is that everyone is in title to idolize whoever they want. It’s something called free will. We’ve all done it, we would be lying if we said no.
