As someone who has gone through college and taken a shitload of English and creative writing classes, I'm a stickler for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I've seen many instances where the story would have been good, but my eyes forever pick up all of the little mistakes, and, believe it or not, that takes away from the story.

In my own opinion, if you are going to post a story, make it as professional as possible. Make sure it's right. If you aren't good with grammar, spelling, etc., there are dozens of books at Barnes and Noble that can help you.

I for one am grateful when my spelling/grammar is pointed out in my stories.. but I think I've already said that like three times in this thread, so I'M the one that needs to STFU about that lol.

I been wondering for almost five hours now what the hell does STFU means, and i just now got it. shut the **** up oh ha ha ha very clever internet world...

I know that I'm terrible with grammar. I just write how I think and I'm pretty sure that I think with the bad G. I should probably go and steal a book from barnes and noble. How funny would that be if I got caught? "What's that under your coat punk?"
