Romeo and Juliet 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago
We had to watch Romeo and Juliet in english and I had this thought when she was disowned. If he's banished and she's disowned why don't they just run off together? I mean I know it was unhearded of and all but they're already sleeping together and had a secret marriage can it really get any worse?

yes--they could run off together, i think somewhere in the book one of the two mentions they'd rather be dead than forever exiled from where ever it is they live. or that's what being exiled was like 'back in the day.' its one of the two

remember there are plently of people who would find it amusing to kill a royal figure... two people without any protection, well that's just asking for it

i think that there is also the fact that there was an extreme lack of bridges to live under at that time...

homeless back then was really really homeless, and generally dead.

both of their families were well off, and even though "material" to them was totally different from "materieal" to us... doing without what little of a lot that they had would be a total culture shock!

smile!

*not to mention that the story would have been a little whacked... not tragedy and all - and would probably require a sequel.. and mr shake the sphere wasn't to keen on leaving open endings!

smile again!

gotta disagree the shaker is cool. especially when you consider the fact that he could not become who he was using mass media - as we do, and have done for the last fifty years...

he had to do it the really old fashion way - tooth and claw...

but, i'm a guy that won't stand in short line for a free stephen king book...
