thats true, but for the most part they were good. and hey-- even if the story itself wasnt good, usually whatever was going on in the comments was at least entertaining lol

Jeez... Allmine, calm down. You've already made it quite clear that you don't like having only promoted stories on the front page, and you've convinced me to some degree.

We temporarily removed the popular stories of the week section because all the popular stories turned out to be the promoted stories. We are currently trying to figure out the appropriate setting to have the most qualified stories on the front page while giving exposure to the members with high credit.

As I said before, I am making a list of things that should be implemented to the site in a near future (I predict some time in mid July). So I would like to encourage the members to keep making suggestions, but please be patient.

I agree with all of you, you strike up valid points. My little aside.. would be to make the lists longer as well.. When I say lists I mean, make the new stories, most discussed, and random; longer so that more stories get time on the front page, even if they are not the best. Also I feel sympathy for all those older stories that alot of us haven't come across yet, because we dont know where or how to find them, say a user hasn't posted in a while, his or her stories are undiscoverable to more recent members. I think a new section for the most popular and discussed stories of all time should be added. Giving life back to the forgotten. Another idea is a list of all memebrs not just a list of the most popular and latest logins.. Just my 2 cents.. Thanks for listening!
