At last, the end is near 2 Months, 1 Week ago
Well, I've just about done it. I am finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunell for my first novel, Dodmen. But now I have a pressing dilemma. I have two possible endings in mind for said novel. The first, and the one that I have been writing towards, is where all characters live happily ever after. It's a classic, i know. The second, is where the protagonist accomplishes his goal, but is subsequently caught in a mystical explosion and killed, with slight references made that he made have survived but is now merely caught in the hellish dimension that he just saved his wife from. Any thoughts?

First, I must say congrats on almost finishing a novel!

Second, my opinion is that you should go with the second ending you described. I'm having a hard time putting my thoughts into words about why you should the second one, but if I do succeed in doing so in the next for minutes, granted I don't forget, I will tell you.
