do you think writing is like up there with art and music? some ppl dont think it is. what are your thoughts. Is it actually considered among the "arts"?

Yes.....art is nothing more than a creative process. Painters use paint, musicians use music, dancers use movement and writers use words. All used to express something whether it is a feeling, emotion, idea....etc...
