The leg was gone when I left for work this morning. Either another dog claimed it or a pack of coyotes hauled it off. I expect it will be back soon since my dog Sienna is a thiever. My yard is full of other dogs' toys.

they're not as smart as they thought though... if they wanted to make it hard to identify the body by cutting it up, they should have taken off his hands, feet, and lower jaw... makes it harder to identify a body without finger/palm prints, footprints, or dental records
