having to pick one author is just mean!
*takes out voodoo charm then puts it away thinking a thousand less thoughts might be a good thing...
i'll tell you why...
naturally.
thomas - doesn't write a mean story. he does, however, write some soulful kick ass poetry.
max - king of the zombies
chris - king of space ships
dirk - king of paranormal
potter - king of family related stuff and general "g" rated stories
lori - queen of romance
yanu/pez - robot girl
lookbook - queen of "i'm gonna write it - i don't care if it makes sense to everybody else" *receives guts and ambition award*
and now i feel bad. everybody that i am connected to has a story or two that i really enjoyed reading and they are all good authors.
the best author, in my mind, could only be the most prolific and consistent. not in genre, but in sheer number of attempts to get everybody's attention by constantly chucking stories out there. i like diversity.
i also rate authors (in my little twisted head) by how they have grown at this site. the overall winner in my head, and winner of coveted "what the heck is that, and where am i supposed to put it?" award for me is
chris.
