don't know about that so much...

you can turn on the tv
turn on the radio
hop on the net
go to the movies
drive a 1,600 miles to a completely different environmnet in a day
fly to another country to get perspective and then arrive home the next day to write about it
browse millions of books
and experience some things yourself to write about

wasn't much happening in the 1600's to write about except people and their ability to screw themselves up. if there was, it wasn't going to be till the next two or three years until you would hear about it - assuming it was within a thousand miles, maybe.

and the people did all have different names...

*ducks into tank and waits for next salvo, while smoking a swisher sweet cigar and sipping a doctor pepper...

He did a lot for literature...I just don't find his plays entertaining, some of his sonnets are good, but that didn't really work out for him

I don't know if you've finished the play... Or movie... (I have the 60s one!! With Olivia Hussy and Leonard Whiting !!! Hooray!!!) But... Um. That's what they were doing. They just decided it would be better to let everyone assume Juliet was dead so that no one would come looking for her. Juliet got poison from the apothecary that allowed her to sleep in a dead-like state (like SNOW WHITE!!! OMG!) for a while so they could bury her and then Romeo could meet her there later and they could run off together (like in "Anywhere" by Evanescence!!! HUZZAH!) but the friar, who was supposed to tell Romeo didn't get there in time. Romeo found out Juliet was dead before anyone told him that it was just a disguise. That she was still ALIVE. So he went to her and killed himself. Then you know, she got up and killed herself. All that jazz. They were both dead... All because the stupid friar took his cotton-picking time. Oaf.

(shakespeare's actually pretty cool... )

William Shaking Spear, Stephen King, The olds and the news. Wow, And then Deep Frying. It's quite amazing how these forums get twisted, quite a TV sitcom really.
Alas! Poor Yoric, (was he Russian?) I knew him so well.
