I look forward to all reviews, good and bad. Good ones boost confidence, while bad ones teach us what we could do better. I think there are two important things to remember, though:

1) Write for yourself. Write what you would want to read, and screw everyone else. Be real to you.

2) Be completely honest when giving a review. Don't give something five stars just because everyone else did. If you don't like it, make it known, and let the world know why you didn't like it. I don't like handing out five of them unless it blows me away. Therefore, don't be offended if I give you four- that's still pretty damn good.

There are many times that I've had to sit back and wonder, "who am I to judge somebody else's work?" After all, I'm an amateur, too. What do I know? Who am I to say if something is good or bad?
