I disagree with you. Seeing the differences between our cultures (you being American and I a Quebeccer or a french Canadian if you prefer).

Here, people don't go to church or even believe in God or religion at all (at least a majority).

I remember about maybe 10 years ago when I was in my first years of High school and the teachers were telling us about drug and alcohol and all that jazz. Well I hate to contradict you, but taking those were probably the foundest memories I have of my crazy teenage years. And it is not true that smoking a joint will make you do crazy stuff like putting a gun in your mouth for fun and killing yourself or even driving while under being high is less dangerous since you're so much more aware and slow-going that you actually drive 20 miles under the speedlimit. I am not for drunk driving, but you got more chance to survive a car accident if you're drunk, since your body goes limp instead of getting stiff.

Anyway, I don't take drugs anymore and I don't even remember the last time I smoked pot (maybe 3 years ago, I dunno?), same goes with alcohol, I haven't been drunk in ages but I still drink a glass or two once in a while and these day, wine is yummy yummy in my belly!

Anyway, I am not saying you're totally wrong but seeing American anti-drug adds on TV always makes me laugh my ass off, your culture is just so 50 years ago and conservative and seeing Bush rant on subjects that don't make sense at all and declaring war as soon as someone sneezes... What can I say, hey?

And I hate to say this... But Drugs, sex and alcohol founded Rock'n Roll man... Come on!

Plus the greatest artists in History were ******* stoners!
