Where I live we just had the longest heatwave ever anywhere. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/03/18/2192987.htm?section=justin it was over 36 degrees celcius (97F) for so long.

You lucky bugger, here in Ireland we have only one season, thats the wet kind.Even in the summer we wear wooly jumpers.

In dublin, if there is there one faint whisper of the sun everyone is out in there shorts.Dont see the sun much, im ready with my suncream waiting for this global warming.

Hah yeah my sister lives in london says if it hits 30 degrees they all melt. I actually have an irish friend of a friend whos here right now, he said the other day he can't stand it felt like he was going to faint (didn't help that we were drinking) because its such a dry heat, no humidity at all. think he said he was from near dublin too

the hottest day we had in the heatwave was 41 i think (105.8f)
