hi ya! Welcome! I'm the same. I sometimes end up writing something really long and then only the heroic bother to read it (are you a hero? ). I think I'll try to write something shorter too. Though the little bit of amateur poetry I've written was short enough. I'm mostly a prose person ya see.

Basically a lot of people are writing good stuff so I will get to some recent and notable stuff...

Anna DeVine's poems are really good. Terry Collet too. Read all the "Brown Goo" stories. They are all really good.

erm... There was a recent one called Della Bridge. erm... Captain Moo Moo by Pez is good. erm... UrzTruly has some really good stuff. Lori, R.E. Potter, Tarhead, Pez, 13, 1800 etc are some of the good prose authors I know.

Ok am sleepy and I cannot even remember all the good stuff. I am missing some of it. erm... 13, has some wicked god-satan themed stuff. Mister Death is a great new one by 1800.

Just start checking out peoples profiles and the things that they have written...also check their favorites lists cause you may find a gem on there too....

Hi, I'm a new guy myself, both to this site and writing. If any of you see any of my work please be as honest as possible? I have pretty thick skin. I'm working on something now much different than my other 2 posts. Hope to have it on in a couple of days. Not sure if it is quite as good as some other stories I have commented on today, but I'm having fun!

As long as you're having fun! Another good thing to do is make connections with others on here. Then you can keep "track" of their works so to speak....

Also, commenting on others stories makes us want to comment on yours....does that make any sense?
