Either that or you get stuck working with them...worse yet for them.

Always helps me to open an email or word document and swear away. It's cathartic....

Or you outlive them. There once was a great thing known as Natural Selection, where people who were stupid ended up killing themselves accidentally, and therefore making sure that their genes aren't passed on. Then again, some of them are able to reproduce before this, and unfortunately the next generation of idiots and fools come along.

Worst yet is that they have warning labels on products, and laws in place to make sure they don't die.

But then there are all these marijuana smoking, alcohol drinking, cigarette smoking teens out there, thinking that I am the weird one out here, since I do not condone of such illegal things. But won't I be laughing when I outlive them and I spit on their graves?

Exactly.

I came to this site almost a year ago, when there were MUCH fewer people, and every new story that came in was read. There was once a time where the site was not pooling with stories and new users, when stories lacked crude material, and all of that good stuff.

For as long as I have been here, I have seen some amazing authors, read great stories, and have made many friends.

But as of late, it seems like this website is going into a general decline, almost as it did in the middle ages.

Stories keep coming faster than people can read them, and their quality is not necessarily that great. Some of them are somewhat terrible. Worst of all, a few of the good authors have essentially left.

So now we have these new users in here, some of which criticize stories way too seriously, while they have not submitted a single one themselves. Back when I joined, people might submit one or two stories a week. Now we have people who join and submit upwards of four stories within the same day.

As for myself, I have not had much luck with writing new stories. I have ideas, but it just does not work out for me like it used to. If things continue like this I might as well leave.

On one thing you are right Quintin...it is very difficult to wade through all the new stories when so many are being posted at one time. Sometimes I can't possibly finish them all, or I get bored and then I might miss what is essentially a great story....

I know that no one is going to care about this, but I am going to be leaving tomorrow and will not return until Friday or Saturday.
