But yes there are certain limits even for the Adult tag. I think something like "school girl" which was posted and removed twice really had no place here.

hmmm.... I mean I didn't like them much, and perhaps the TAGC one was gone too far, but i hope he wasn't extremely discouraged or upset or anything. O well.

Having them taken off is for the best; the admin is just. and I didn't particularly like your poems either. But we all have our taste. I won't hold it against you. I have thick skin, so don't worry. I also have a six sense about people sitting on their pedestals and pointing fingers too. And I won't hold that against them either.

I was thinking that if we're reconciled to the school districts not liking any adult content ...even if it is tagged.... and they are banning the whole site... then perhaps most things besides pure and tasteless hardcore porn should be allowed with an adult tag....

Here's a way you can help. Go to MSN chat or Yahoo chat where they have "literature" discussion groups and tell them about storiesville. Or any ol' (or new) chat sites. They, like you, probably did not even know that storiesville exists.

If it'll help, I am up for voting on some members becoming moderators. I value the auto-publish feature, and I doubt the report this story button is of much use.

if there are going to be user-moderators then there should be clear and unambiguous rules and guidelines. And even that won't end abuse totally.

And...to be honest.... if we really want to be up to the standards of school districts, that would cut down on the freedom of expression here a lot more than just pruning out hard porn.

The site has to decide what its mission is. Are school users important enough to restrict writhers very greatly?
