THE HOUSE OF GRIMM (A Thread by J. Grimm) 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago

I'm tired of being "thread-bare" so this should be fun! I've never actually had a thread... except at Christmas time when I'm making popcorn strings with my son or when I step outside and realize that I'm not going to town naked.
Anyway, on my profile I mentioned starting a blog to give a "behind the scenes" look at my thought and writing process for any who are interested, because as a filmmaker and fan of movies, I always enjoy the behind the scenes extras and stuff.
And, just like in the world of filmmaking, since not every story ends up in the direction it started anyway, sometimes it's fun to get a sneak peek into "what could have been". Little tidbits like... Did you know that "Beverly Hills Cop" was supposed to be a serious cop movie starring Sly Stallone? Too many conflicting issues with Sly and the producers (including his changing the name of the character from "Axel Foley" to "Marrion Cobretti" resulted in them parting ways and bringing in the director's first choice, Eddie Murphy... the rest is cinematic history. Oh, yeah, and Sly eventually got to play his "Corbetti" character in his own action flick - "Cobra". ***** See? Wasn't that interesting and fun to learn?
If you have any "behind the scenes" tidbits about your own stories... fell free to post them here, too.
The House of Grimm is large enough for all to share.
See ya!
