That's the point of this idea!!!!

So I have been thinking about this and I believe that I understand what Tarhead is after..

1. Someone posts the topic in a forum thread.
2. We all have to come up with our own story and post it in the thread by the following Friday.
3. No reading of anyone else's story until yours is written, and no comments in the thread.
4. Whoever posts their story last has to post the topic for next week's prompt..no wait I read it again...whoever posts that week's topic gets to pick the person who has to come up with next weeks topic....right?

Am I right? You know, I am a very intelligent person...most of the time

If it's good enough, can we publish our stories on the main site?

Am I the only one who doesn't think this is a good idea?

No offense Lori, it sounds fun; it would of been great on maybe another website, but not Storiesville...

I think it would screw up the system that's been established... Storiesville would become much too disorganized!

Maybe posting a topic and writing in our opinion would be better... but not a story...

Well..that was my thought...why couldn't we? Maybe take a vote and see who's story gets "published" that week so to speak? But I do think that we should have comment time on our stories when the week is over with.

Well I was just trying to create some sort of writing circle. I don't see how it would really screw anything up. It's not like anyone is being forced to participate or even read except for those of us that want to participate. Personally, I can write about mostly anything, I am just having issues right now with idea block. Thought it would be neat for all of our different personalities to wrtie about the same prompt and see what we come up with. I am trying to understand your objection here.....

You know what Lori? You've talked me into it; I still sort of stand by my previous post... but, I'll do it.

There MUST be a word limit to the stories though. I really don't want to read something that's too long.

How about a 1,000 word limit?
