i write songs when i'm not brewing stories - and it works in the reverse for me.
when i write a song - there is a story that follows it.
here's an example, go here and scroll down to
twisted
then go
hereand listen to the song. i deliberately recorded in a dated fashion.
here's what the end of the story is...
imagine two teens standing on opposite sides of a barb wire fence crossing a huge meadow.
one male, one female - best friends for as far back as either can remember.
both in love with each other - although neither has said the words.
both too friend/confidant/chum/brother-sister deep to feel they have a rightful claim to the other's heart.
one is leaving and doesn't know how to ask the other to join.
one is staying and doesn't know how to ask the other to do the same.
both confused in love and by love.
both of them see each other - but don't really see each other...
and cut.
