You know it sounds to me like we have several different issues going on here....one, what is considered distasteful, two, what is considered too adult for this site, and three, allowing it to not be blocked from schools. At this point, I think we have lost the schools unfortunately. But that does not stop us from trying to be a more up-class website. We ARE better than literotica for example.

To some extent I understand the moderator idea since the administrator cannot possibly read and watch the site 24/7, but..that leads back to who will do it, what they will decide on, etc etc. Last thing we want on here is butt kissing to get stuff published, or moderators who don't allow certain people or ideas be published, etc etc.

a simple rule of thumb: pure crude porn should be a no-no.

erotic stuff is ok as long as it has real artistic merit or there are other themes and story points besides the sex.

rude and crude language.... well...if there is some artistic reason for it, then fine, but if it is just to be crude and offensive and nothing else, then no.

I think a more prominent report UI and a guidelines doc for new members should be adequate.

Unfortunately, those have been the unwritten rules all along. You would have thought that we were all mature enough to handle it. Maybe now that such a big deal has been made out of it....
