We all have our own little quirks; that's what makes us each uniquely weird. Some of us like to separate the 2 halves of an Oreo cookie before we eat it... others like to just dunk it in milk and munch away (we can't all be perfect, I guess).

As an avid reader of several series of books, I like to know what I'm about to commit to before I dive into the lives of the characters and the whole world that the author has created. With that said...
THIS THREAD IS FOR SHARING THE PLOT (SYNOPSIS) OF YOUR SERIES.

If you have a series or are submitting a book chapter by chapter, whether it is old and has been read a gazillion times or if you are introducing a new series or book, let potential readers and fans know what it's about.

Think about it... if you have 1000 hits on your series, that's cool. But, how many readers on this site are just like me and want to know the plot of a series before they start reading it? You may gain the interest of 1000 more readers just by telling us about the characters, the world they live in, their mission in the series, potential heroes, characters to watch out for... etc. Keep us up to date with episodic run-downs, too, if you want. Put the reader in touch with these cool cats or villainous psychos you've created; make their world part of our world.


Doing so may also jog your creative process in a way you never imagined.

I wrote a story way back in the neolithic era of the site entitled In the Beginning...

I was planning on writing two sequels but never got around to it. So keep on the lookout.

As for the story, it has many similarities to Arthur C. Clark's 2001 series, namely the Early Astronaut theory. Part two takes place on Mars, and part three takes place on one of Jupiter's moons.

Well, I've been working on a series titled, "Robot 7."

It takes place in the U.S. because when isn't the U.S. the center of attention? It's not an action-packed thriller, but it's nonetheless, in my opinion, a fun read.

The following might be familiar to some because I previously posted it on my profile:

There's the 7 robots. One girl the whole story seems to revolve around. And a mysterious figure, now only known as Clinic.

Robot 1: Hank [Appears to be 33 (He's basically China, and is shipped there often, by the way. So, if your shirt reads ‘Made in China’ on the label, Hank, most likely, made it for you)]

Robot 2: Aaron [Appears to be 13 (He was skipped into the 10th grade because of his outstanding PSAT test scores... a test he took accidentally by the way)]

Robot 3: Raye [Appears to be 20 (An androgynous beauty who's gender can be best described with the word hermaphrodite... though it really doesn't have any sexual organs)]

Robots 4 & 5: Isabella & Abram [Apparently 18-year old fraternal twins and expert medical surgeons]

Robot 6: Hicks [There's a background on him in my story: Miss Phillips and Captain Moo-Moo... though one thing that wasn't mentioned was that he was in the military]

Robot 7: Olivia [Currently her age is unknown (She DOESN'T know that she is a robot unlike the rest)]

So that's pretty much it... what else? Oh yes, they're not really the ages mentioned, they just appear to be to the public. For example, Aaron is really 178, making him the oldest... the rest mostly aren't too far behind. Each has a 'job' and 'super power'... I know, buy I squeezed it all in there anyway...

I'm not sure if there will be a 7th part. I'm thinking it'll stop at 6.
